Obituary of Violet A. Martin

Violet A. Martin, mother and grandmother, died on Monday, January 25, 2021. She was born in Paterson New Jersey, to Julius and Mary Choromanski in 1930. Violet was raised in Clifton, NJ. She married  George J. Ameer with whom she had three sons and lived in Wayne, NJ. Later the family relocated to  Milford, NJ. In 1986, Violet was remarried to Joseph V. Martin of Hampton NJ. She and Joe owned and  operated a small business for over 20 years. Prior to that, she worked as a real estate agent and in  county government in Flemington, NJ. Violet was generous, friendly and warm. She was devoted to her  children and grandchildren who will hold on to fond memories of her thoughtful manner, kindness,  support and wonderful cooking. She will be sorely missed. She leaves behind a brother, two sons, and  seven grandchildren. A service will be held at St. Ann's Church in Hampton on Saturday, March 6th.  Further details will be available from the Martin Funeral Home (martinfh.com) by Wednesday March 3rd.
