Obituary of Virginia Crooks

Virginia Crooks, age 88, formerly of Clinton, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Oakdale Nursing Home, West Boylston, MA. Virginia was born June 16, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mable Yawger. She lived in Clinton for most of her life before moving to Massachusetts a year and a half ago. Mrs. Crooks worked as an Administrative Assistant for J.C. Johnson Oil Company in Clinton. Her hobbies included fashion. She is survived by her Son: William J. Crooks IV & his wife, Jane of Sterling, MA.; her granddaughter, Noelle M. Crooks. She was predeceased by her husband: William J. Crooks III in 1958; her sisters: Vera, Cora, Helen, and Myrtle Yawger and Pauline Lyons. Visiting hours will be Monday, October 22nd from 2:00pm-2:30pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
