Obituary of Antonio Paulo Branco

Antonio Paulo Branco, age 68, of Pittstown, NJ, passed peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021, surrounded by his devoted family. Born July 22, 1952 in Belém, Brazil, he is the son of the late Lourival and Ida (née Souza) Branco.

Antonio came to America when he was 3 years old, residing in Newark, NJ. Antonio was a 1971 graduate of East Side High School, who went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from NJIT in Electrical Engineering.

Antonio married the love of his life, Donna (Legge) Branco on July 17th, 1982, they would reside in Belleville and Union NJ before settling in Pittstown in 1997. A true "Jack of all trades"  he would hold many jobs throughout his younger years, before having a long and successful career with Vac-U-Max for 36 years. Antonio would retire in 2017 as Vice President and Chief Electrical Engineer.

Antonio was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and son. He was the quintessential family man; he adored his wife and sons, they were his pride and joy, and meant everything to him. When he wasn't spending time with family, he loved to listen to music, play the drums, enjoy the outdoors, and constantly tinker through his endless list of “projects”.

Antonio, a devout Catholic, was well known for his deep and unwavering faith. His joyful, vibrant personality was contagious to all. True to his faith, Antonio was humble and selfless; he always prioritized the needs of others, and his generosity was without bounds. Despite countless challenges and hardships throughout his life, the resilience of his trust in God was an inspiration.
