Obituary of Sharyn Loughlin Fallon

Sharyn Loughlin Fallon - Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Mrs. Sharyn Loughlin Fallon, 61, of Annandale, departed this life on Saturday, November 24, 2007. With grace, courage and strength, Sharyn fought her 7 year battle with multiple cancers. Sharyn believed if she could live long enough, science would find a cure. Alas, science could not fulfill her wish in time but her dream lives on that a cure will soon be found for others. A long time resident of Rahway, Sharyn moved to Annandale in 1993 with the relocation of Merck & Co., Inc. World Headquarters. Sharyn supervised the Merck conference center and worked with many non-profit organizations on galas and fund raisers. Shortly after coming to Annandale she met her devoted husband and dreamer, Richard. They married overlooking the Grand Canyon, and journeyed together on the adventure of life with its thrills and challenges. Sharyn enjoyed off-road Jeep trips, hot air ballooning, skiing, cross country motorcycle trips, national parks, oil painting in Tuscany, many trips to Santa Fe and the surrounding southwest and the community of St. Catherines of Siena. A life long artist, Sharyn has left behind many memories for her family and friends to cherish. Sharyn is deeply missed by her surviving children: Tim Jones and Joanna DeSordi, son-in-law David DeSordi; grandchildren Justin (10), Sarah (8), and Kayleigh (4), her husband Richard Fallon and his son Richard, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Nicholas (5) and Kaitlyn (2) and daughter Christa Koch, son-in-law Michael and granddaughter Haley (4). Visitation will be from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Friday, 11/30/2007 at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rt. 31 Clinton, NJ 08809, with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM on Saturday 12/1/2007 at St. Catherine of Siena in Pittstown NJ, www.stcatherineofsienarcc.org. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church Saturday morning.
