Obituary of Patricia A. Moonjian

Patricia A. Moonjian, age 73, of Breinigsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at her home.  She was born on September 12, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, and was the daughter of the late Charles Moonjian and the late Josephine Paino Moonjian. 

Patricia grew up in West New York, NJ before residing in Hunterdon County for many years.  She was a graduate of Memorial High School, Class of 1966, and later in life went on to achieve her bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in 1990.  Pat loved to help others and did so professionally during a nearly 20 year career working as the Director of the Transition Center for Women at Norwescap.

Patricia considered motherhood to be the most important role of her life and she was a wonderful mother to her three children, Matthew, Jessica, and Joseph.  Pat enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra, going to the Jersey Shore with her family, attending bible study, and playing a good game of dominos or mahjong, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren Jayden, Charlotte, and Dominic.  Patricia was also recently dedicating herself to learning Italian in preparation for a trip to Italy with her son Matthew. 

Patricia is survived by and will be greatly missed by her son Matthew Faro: daughter, Jessica Hodgskin and her husband Kevin: son Joseph Faro and his wife Heather: brothers Charles Moonjian, Jr, Peter Moonjian, and John Moonjian and his wife Louise: grandchildren Jayden, Charlotte, Dominic and one additional grandchild on the way.  She is also survived by her many beloved cousins, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 31st, from 1:00 until 4:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. A Service of Remembrance will be offered on Monday, November 1st at 11:00 AM at the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 91 Center Street, Clinton, NJ.
