I just found out about Jean's passing. I have many fond memories of my early years spending time camping with Jean, Lloyd, Eric, Mark and Wendy. Jean remained one of the closest friends of my mom until her passing in 2017. Always there looking out for my mom. That will remain my clearest recollection of her. I will miss her sharp wit, and creativity. My deepest condolences to the family, and I am so sad that I wasn't able to be with you all to celebrate her life. Ed Smith Englewood FL.
Wendy, Erik, Mark and families, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.
I have many fond memories of trips to Hess's cleanup with your mom, my mom, and my aunt and some of her friends each month. We showed the bargains we each found on the way back. It became a game to see who got the biggest bargain.
I also remember all of the beautiful things your mother created. Her quilts were amazing and so were her knitted items. She was just as skilled at other crafts as well. She was so creative and encouraged me to try new crafts too.
She was a dear friend of my mother. I know if my Mom were still with us, she would be sending her condolences too.
