Obituary of Marie A. Tomasow

Marie A. Tomasow of Frenchtown, NJ passed away peacefully aged 81 on Wednesday, December 26th, 2007 of natural causes. Born in Hillside, NJ, the 5th of 6 children to Sicilian immigrant parents, Charles and Anna Mancuso on January 1st, 1926. Maries New Years baby status made her extra special her entire life. Maries love of music often times found her at the Adams Theater instead of in class at the high school, as a teenager. It was their she got to listen to and meet Glenn Miller. Marie married her high school sweetheart, William V. Tomasow (who pre-deceased her in 1995) they had two children, Andrea (who also pre-deceased her in 1964) and Pamela. She is survived by her daughter Pamela A. Siegel and her husband Donald (also of Frenchtown) and the light of her life, granddaughter Kelly A. Anderson and her husband Alexander (of Yorkshire, England) She is also survived by her sister Ann Conlon, Brother Charles S. Mancuso and many nieces & nephews & their children. Marie had varied jobs over the years, but none as important as her role as wife, mom and proud grandma. She was generous, had a good sense of humor and was loved tremendously and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
