Obituary of Linda M. Gemeinhardt

Linda M. Gemeinhardt, age 51, of the Pittstown Section of Franklin Twp., NJ died Monday, January 7, 2008 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mrs. Gemeinhardt was born December 25, 1956 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late John and Marie (Murray) Gemeinhardt. She is a graduate of Stephens College and the University of Kentucky. Linda resided in the Pittstown Section of Franklin Twp. NJ for the past 6 years and previous to that, she lived in Palmerton, Pa. She was a Graphic Artist and previously worked at Classic Arts in East Hanover, NJ. More recently Linda pursued her lifelong passion and love for horses and worked as a Horse Caretaker for Smoke Hollow Farm in Pittstown, NJ. Linda was an owner and exhibitor of American Saddlebred Horses. She also was a dog breeder and Steward and enjoyed Ceramics. She was a member of American Saddlebred Horse Association of New Jersey (ASHA) and the United States Equestrian Federation. Horses were Linda's whole way of life. She was so dedicated to promoting the Saddlebred and to their careand so involved with the Jersey Classic Horse Show. Shewill be sorely missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her Mother, Marie (nee Murray) Gemeinhardt of Palmerton, Pa. and her Cousin, Dr. Glenn Murray of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was pre-deceased by her Father, John Gemeinhardt in 2005 There will be a Memorial Gathering on Friday, January 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Catholic Blessing at 7:30 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Interment services will be conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
