Obituary of Melvin F. Briner

Melvin F. Briner, age 56, of High Bridge, NJ died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mr. Briner was born December 31, 1951 in Pine Grove, Pa. the son of the late Charles E. and the late Joyce (nee Pearson) Briner. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1972. Melvin was a Truck Driver for HRS Trucking in Phillipsburg, NJ and also worked for Phil George W.A.S. Terminal in Newark, NJ. He enjoyed fishing, driving a truck and the great outdoors. Mr. Briner resided in High Bridge, NJ for the past 20 years and previous to that, he lived in Whitehouse, NJ. Melvin is survived by his beloved Wife of 23 years: Sue Briner, his Sons; Stephen, Matthew & Michael and his Daughters; Marsha & Michelle. Additional survivors include, his Brothers; Alan & Charles II Briner, his Sisters; Helen Fisher, Anna Mengle & Carol Lubold, his Step-Children; Alan, Robin & Wendy and 5 Grandchildren All services will be conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
