Obituary of Mabel J. Schellenberg

Mabel J. Schellenberg, age 85, of Oxford passed away February 29, 2008 at Warren Haven Nursing Home in Oxford, NJ. Mabel was born November 15, 1922 in Elizabeth, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Richard and the late Carrie (Gerber) Beattie. She lived in High Bridge and Washington NJ before moving to Oxford 5 years ago. Mrs. Schellenberg was employed by American Can in Washington, NJ as a Assembly Worker and retired in 1982. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Barbara Schellenberg of Washington, NJ; her granddaughter: Melissa Ballenilla of Easton, PA , a great grandson: Evan; her sister: Eleanor Verigan of NC. She is also survived by several Nieces. She was predeceased by her twin sister: Blanche Beattie and her son: Walter A. Schellenberg. All service were conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
