Obituary of Carol Ann D. Holland

Carol Ann Holland, age 45, of Readington Twp., NJ died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at home. Mrs. Holland was born January 15, 1963 in Summit, NJ the daughter of the late Theodore C. and Jo Ann B. Drakos (nee Beasley). She was a loving Wife and Mother. Carol was a member of the South Ridge Community Church in Clinton, NJ. She resided in Readington Twp., NJ for the past 5 years and previous to that she lived in Randolph, NJ. Carol Ann is survived by 4 loving Children whose memory of their Mom will not fade, Cory (15), Jenna (12), Caleigh (9), & Christa (4) and her heart broken Husband of 22 years, Ken Holland who will take much solace in at least knowing Carol, his Sweetest of Sweets is resting in the comfort of her heavenly, Godly Father. Here, Carol is already reunited with her Father, Ted Drakos who predeceased her and many other loved ones. Carol is also survived by her loving, caring Mother, Jo Ann Drakos of Charlottesville, Va., whose care and warmth never left Carols side. Carol is blessed to have a God given Sister and trusted friend, Kathryn Cattano who resides in Charlottesville, Va. with her Husband, John, and with whom they have 5 adult Children & 4 Grandchildren. Carol was blessed to have two Brothers, Theodore Chris Drakos Jr. of Budd Lake, NJ and Richard L. Drakos who resides with his Wife, Nancy and 2 Sons in Myrtle Beach, SC. Carol is a special woman of God as all who take the time to know Him are! Carol truly desired to stay here and raise her family, but our heavenly Father wanted her home to protect and hold. Until were reunited in eternity, rest in comfort of our Lord and Savior! The Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 11th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 12th at 12:30 pm at the South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Rd, Clinton, NJ - #908-735-5252 or www.southridgecc.org The Church will be open from 11:30 am to the time of the Service on Thursday for an additional hour of Visitation. Please note: ** Family & Friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY at the Church. The Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
