Obituary of Marvin A. Slicklen

Marvin A. Slicklen, age 76, of Bethlehem Twp., NJ died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mr. Slicklen was born January 11, 1933 in NYC, NY the son of the late Marvin and the late Rose (nee Wolfrath) Slicklen. Marvin proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a Database Manager for AT&T in Bedminster, NJ for many years before retiring. Mr. Slicklen resided in Bethlehem Twp., NJ for the past 32 years and previous to that, he lived in Islip Terrace, Long Island, NY. He enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his beloved Wife of 49 years: Dorothy (nee York) Slicklen and three Sons: Scott Slicklen of Bethlehem Twp., NJ, James Slicklen of Flemington, NJ, and Kris Slicklen of Bethlehem Twp., NJ, his cherished Granddaughter, Emily and his Sister, Jean Slicklen of San Diego, Calif.Visiting Hours will be on Thursday, January 15th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ.
