Obituary of Chester Staniulis

Chester Staniulis, age 92, of Bethlehem Twp., NJ (Hunterdon County) died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mr. Staniulis was born September 19, 1916 in Elizabeth, NJ the son of the late Anthony and the late Martha (nee Renkevicz) Staniulis. Mr. Staniulis was a longtime resident of Bethlehem Twp, NJ. In addition to living in Bethlehem Twp., he and his late Wife, Rose, enjoyed spending the winter in Clearwater, Florida. He was a Poultry Farmer and he also enjoyed growing his own vegetables which he happily distributed to his family and friends. Chester was also employed by Tenneco Chemical Company in Flemington, NJ.He is survived by his devoted Daughters: Nancy Lanzon & her Husband, Joe of Old Saybrook, Connecticut and Linda Wittwer & her Husband, Norm of Hampton, NJ, his Son, Chet Staniulis & his Wife, Paula of Albuquerque, New Mexico, his cherished Granddaughter, Lauren Lanzon of Old Saybrook, Connecticut and his Sister, Alice Hummer of Hampton, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his beloved Wife, Rose (nee Gonzlik) in 2006 and his Brother, Alphonse P. Staniulis in 2007Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday, July 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service officiated by the Reverend Jim DeVries on Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00 am also at Funeral Home. The Interment will take place at the Norton Cemetery on Charlestown Rd. in Bethlehem Twp., NJ immediately following the Service.
