Obituary of Richard DeFuccio

Richard DeFuccio, age 86, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Richard was born September 21, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of the late Joseph and the late Rose (Preziosa) DeFuccio. Richard was a Custom's Broker for Taub, Hummel and Schnall, in Manhattan for many years. He lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Hunterdon County 25 years ago. He also served in the Army during WWII. He lived in Pittstown, Clinton and most recently in Frenchtown. Mr. DeFuccio was an avid baseball fan and always enjoyed people. He was a volunteer greeted at the Hunterdon Medical Center. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Marie (Flotteron) DeFuccio, his son, Richard DeFuccio and his wife Kerry Cahill of Pittstown, his two loving grandchildren, Corey and Willowe, his brother, Robert DeFuccio and his wife Sally, and his brother-in-law James Flotteron and his wife Joan He was pre-deceased by his brother, John, and sister, Alice. The Visitation will take place Saturday, May 4th from 2-5pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. Interment will be private.
