Charlie was surely one of God's angels and I was truly blessed to have been one of his many dear friends. He was very giving, warm and always trying to please others. He had the cutest sense of humor which always brought a smile to my face! I sure will miss him and know he is at peace now, with his maker and his fellow angels. Rest in peace Charlie! Charles was more than just a friend; he was an amazing person. he was always so kind and considerate to us that we always welcomed seeing him at every opportunity. him passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Charlie holds a special place in my heart. He always made me remember the simple things in life and to appreciate the little things. His love for animals was so amazing. Always worried about his cats and fox. He was so proud of his property and would tell me how he was going to escape from Hunterdon Hills and go back home. I loved to just sit and listen to his stories. He was proud to be a veteran. Praise God! I will miss him.

We are so sad to hear of Charlie's passing. Jim is one of Charlie's 'diner buddies' from the Royal Diner in Washington, and the Country Side Lucheonette on Rt 57. Charlie rode with us in this years 4th of July Lebanon parade, he was able to get in and out of our 1952 restored Willys with no problem! This past Memorial Day he participated at the Glen Gardner VFW Post #5119, where he enjoyed talking to the other Vets. He will be missed.

I have many wonderful memories. I remember when he would feed the cats along side the road by his house and going to Walmart in Hackettstown with him to pick up the cat food. He loved animals. I remember feeding the ducks with him one time and picking up corn so he could feed the deer.
