Obituary of Phyllis DiSabatino

Phyllis DiSabatino, age 85, of Alexandria Twp., NJ died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at her home surrounded by her Husband and Children. Mrs. DiSabatino was born March 12, 1924 in Staten Island, NY, the daughter of the late Louis and the late Marion (nee DePresco) Trivisone. Mrs. DiSabatino graduated from Port Richmond HS on Staten Island in 1941 and instated in the permanent Honor Roll. After Graduating High School with Honors she attended Wagner College on Staten Island and majored in Pre-Med. She got most of her joy from her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and books. Most importantly, she was a beloved Wife and Mother. In addition, she was a bookkeeper for the Home Insurance Company in New York City. She resided in Alexandria Twp., NJ for 30 years and previous to that, she lived in Staten Island, NY. She is survived by her beloved Husband: Sam DiSabatino and her three daughters: Patricia Arceri of Poundridge, NY, Lois Connelly of Califon, NJ & Elizabeth Anthony of Bernardsville, NJ. Additional survivors include, her Sister, Jeanne Garner of Lakewood, NJ, her Granddaughter, Christine Weiler of Easton, PA.; her Grandson, Robert Weiler of Pittsburgh, PA; her Granddaughter, Jessica Arceri of Saratoga County, NY; her Granddaughter, Jocelyn Arceri of Stamford, CT; her Granddaughter, Lydia Anthony of Bernardsville, NJ; her Grandson, Daniel Anthony of Bernardsville, NJ; and her Great Grandsons; , Abe Williams of Saratoga County, NY & Brennan Weiler of Pittsburg, Pa. Visiting Hours will be on Friday, December 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, December 19th at 11:00 also at the Funeral Home. The Interment will take place at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clinton Twp., NJ immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
