Dear Sarah and family,
I was so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing and want you to know that the first thing that popped into my head was what an upbeat person she was. It is easy to recall her smile and to hear her laughter, even after all these years! My memories, of course, are from several years spent together at High Bridge Middle School. It was always obvious that she loved the kids and that they loved her. It was also obvious how much she loved all of you, her family. I'm sorry for your loss.
Love, Mrs. G.

First and foremost I send my deepest sympathy to everyone in her family. The Popadiuk's were our neighbors and my parent's very good friends. I was just a little girl when we first moved into our house in Manville. Debbie was like a big sister to me. Being a few years older than myself, Debbie would sit and let me brush and comb her hair - never complaining that she was bored. We would also carry all my Barbie Doll things out onto my backyard lawn and play for what was probably hours. Then there are the pictures my parents have of the times when Debbie would go on day trips with us. I'm sure there are many other things we did together, but I was too young to remember them all. Several years ago we did connect with one another and sent Christmas cards to each other, but then lost touch as time went on. I am so sorry to learn about her passing. I will be certain to light a church candle in her honor, as well this one I'm lighting here. May God Bless you all in this time of sorrow.
Love, Venus

She was a beautiful soul and we all know that she will live on. Anytime I break out into song, I will think of you momma. Love you and miss you always. I know you're with us =)

Mom,
As the years go on and I grow older I realize how similar we are. I inherited your goofy bubbly personality, I laugh at my own jokes, sing my own songs, and try to be as positive and strong as you. This whole experience has impacted my life in so many ways I am not used to, but I am learning to adjust to and continue to learn life's crazy ... or as you'd say... "coo-coo" lessons. The fact that you were so strong during this battle shows just how amazing of a person you are. I wish you could see how many people are asking about you and praying every day mom. Be proud of yourself because we all are! You've touched so many people's lives and to be your child is a blessing in it's own. I think of you every second of every day that passes. Love always and forever,
