Obituary of Marie Jenkins Everett

Marie Jenkins-Everett, of Union Twp., NJ died peacefully at home on September 7th 2010, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer - a disease which she did not allow to define her life. Marie was born to Thomas and Catherine Jenkins in Panama in 1937. A graduate of Balboa high school, class of 1955. Marie is survived be her spouse Robert L. Everett, and five children, Joseph F. Strus, Jean M. Baldwin, Denise P. Strus, Peter J. Everett, John C. Everett and their spouses. Marie is also survived by her twelve beautiful grandchildren and five siblings, Thomas Jenkins, Joseph Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, Bill Jenkins and Kathleen A. Cuartas. Marie will be greatly missed by all those whose life she touched. "Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eyes". Funeral arrangements were made by the Martin Funeral Home in Clinton, NJ. The family will be having a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to any of the following charitable organizations: Oxfam America, Doctors Without Borders, SmileTrain, and The Humane Society of U.S.A.
