Obituary of William M. Irons
William M. Irons, age 80, of Hampton, NJ passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Little Brook Nursing Home in Lebanon Township. Mr. Irons was born September 30, 1930 in Arbroath, Scotland. He was the son of the late George and the late Mabel (Peters) Irons. He lived in Hampton for 41 years.
Mr. Irons graduated from Gloucester City High School and from Trenton State College in 1952 with a Teaching Degree. He was a school teacher in Paulsboro, NJ then he went on to be a guidance counselor and then an Administrator at the Adult School at Pennsauken, NJ for many years. He was also Vice Principal of Warren Hills High School from 1968-1976.
Mr. Irons was owner and operator of "Awards World", an engraving business in Hampton for 25 years. He was a Mason and belonged to the Paulsboro/Swedesboro Lodge #157. His hobby was photography.
He is survived by his wife: Eleanor(Johnson) Irons.
