Obituary of Dyer D. Weed Jr.

Dyer D. Weed, Jr., age 86, of Glen Gardner, NJ died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp. NJ. Mr. Weed was born November 14, 1923 in Springfield, Ma., the son of the late Dyer D. and the late Latona (nee Pease) Weed. He lived in Annandale, NJ for many years. Dyer served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1945 during World War II in the South Pacific. Mr. Weed was a Sales Manager for American Cyanamid in Wayne, NJ for many years before retiring. He is survived by three daughters: Stephanie Chiappa of Sandbrook, NJ, June Langley-Shea of North Carolina, Sharon Courounis of Glen Gardner, NJ, his son: Dyer D. Weed III of Glen Gardner, NJ and his cherished grandchildren, Joanne & Jason Courounis. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Zenaide G. Weed in 2004. Funeral arrangements are under the directions of the Martin Funeral Home of Clinton, NJ. All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
