Dear Susan,
I was so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He was a wonderful man. I know how much you loved him. You were such a great daughter, he was so proud of you and loved you very much.
Fondly Penny
Oh how many wonderful memories of visiting Beach Street to see your Mom and Dad with your Grandmother and Grandfather. Would you believe they sent me at age 10 to the corner for a pail of beer. And the guy gave it to me.
Wasn't Lake Kittittiny full of great memories. I have some 8mm of that and will share it with you when I get it on a cd.
See you sunday.
We are so sorry for the loss of your sweet Dad. You were a great daughter and we know you enjoyed every minute of the special time with your Dad. When he spoke of you, his face would light up! I remember how much he enjoyed seeing the dogs at the barn and how proud he was of Summerfield Farm.
Van was a delightful, kind, and happy man. I can still see him gestering with his hands in the air , and that wonderful smile as the thanked me for coming by.
I will always think of him when I catch the strains of Big Band Music, and laugh when I think of him singing " because your feets too big!"
He had a wonderful life, and we remember him with kindness and love. He was a good Papa. Love, Pamela
I am so glad we were able to get together with you a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful time and so special to see your eyes light up at Garrett and Graicen. We love and miss you Grandpa.....
