Obituary of Danielle Ann Sierra

Danielle Ann Sierra, age 50, of Prattsburgh, NY, passed away on Wednesday,

December 29, 2021. Born October 6, 1971, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Johnson and Janet Cafiero Whitehouse.

Danielle was a 1989 graduate of Madison Central High School. She married her beloved husband, Gilberto Sierra Jr., on November 26, 1993. Together they raised a beautiful family having three children: Austin, Alyssa, and Ariana. Danielle worked tirelessly in the mortgage
industry and was founder of Lending Lab LLC. She was recognized in 2006 by Scotsman Guide as one of the Top Loan Officers in the United States. She was awarded the 2008 Women in Business/Small Business Award from the National Congressional Republican Committee. Danielle worked hard but her greatest achievement was her family.

Danielle will be forever remembered by her kindness and generosity. She often donated her time and money to friends, family, and community members in need, especially during the holidays and tough times. In her free time, she could often be found gardening, sewing, cooking,
watching horror movies and traveling. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends.

Danielle will be forever missed by her beloved husband, Gilberto Sierra Jr.; son, Austin Gilbert Sierra; daughters, Alyssa Nicole Sierra and Ariana Elise Sierra; mother, Janet Cafiero Whitehouse.

Danielle is predeceased by her father, Charles Johnson, and her grandmother, Muriel Cafiero.

Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ, 08809. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 7^th at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Greenwich Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ.
