Obituary of Mary B. Dillinger

Mary B. Dillinger, age 74, of Lebanon Township, NJ, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at her home. Born on January 28, 1948 in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter to the late Milton J. Baker and the late Eleanor (nee Carlson) Baker.

Mary was 1965 graduate of Rahway High School. She married the love of her life, Richard Dillinger II, on September 6, 1969. They raised three sons, Eric, Peter, and Richard. 

Mary was an equestrian enthusiast. She had a love for the sport. Mary worked as a school bus driver for over forty-one years. She was dedicated to her family, friends, and to the students of Lebanon Township.

Mary will be forever missed by her sons, Eric Dillinger of Gilbert, AZ, and Peter Dillinger of Glen Gardner, NJ; grandchildren, Lainey, Thomas, and Grace of Arizona; sister, Barbara Harper and her husband Will of Princeton, NJ; many extended family members including nieces and nephews; friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

Mary is predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Dillinger II; and her beloved son, Richard Dillinger III.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, April 13th, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Service of Remembrance will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be held at Spruce Run Cemetery.
