I remember Bob from Montclair State as well as Bridgewater-Raritan. I coached JV soccer at high school EAST and Bob was one of the best soccer officials we had. He was fair, friendly and knew the rules. Pat, I met you once and you told me that Bob felt that soccer officiating was his hardest sport and that he was not as good at it as the other sports. I had to disagree then and still do. I always new that we would get good officiating when Bob was on the field. He was a good guy and will be missed.

I am so sad to learn of the passing of Bob Timko. He was an extraordinary man with a loving family. To Pat, Beth, and Karen and their families I send my deepest condolences. The world was indeed a better place because Bob was here and that is a wonderful legacy. Al Rylak

Bob and I taught together for a while. He was the epitome of the word gentleman. Once, I asked him to take some thing I had aTtempted to cook. He was brave and tasted it. Then he said the kindest words to me. “I’m sure it’s very good but I just don’t appreciate it.“ He was right. I didn’t like it either. He always had a smile on his face. He also had a heart of gold. Hugs to the family for the loss. Fran Quayle

Bob and I shared many days on Little League, Pony League, and High School baseball fields when we were both young. We also shared the joy of being coached by his father in the Little League and Pony League.
He was always a great teammate. But beyond that, I will remember him as a young man of integrity who always seemed to have a positive outlook on life. I hope you all find comfort in your memories and the love that you shared.
