Obituary of John R. Ahearn

John R. Ahearn, 73, of Lebanon Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his residence, with his family by his side. He was born on February 27, 1949, in London, England and was the son of the late John and the late Phyllis (née Brewster) Ahearn.

John came to America in 1975 and settled in Staten Island, NY until moving to Hunterdon County in 1988. John was co-owner of NuDimensions Auto Body on Staten Island from 1976 until his retirement in 2022.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Monica (nee Raia)  Ahearn of Lebanon Township; son, Jared Ahearn and his wife Susan of Asbury, NJ; daughter, Dawn Ekin and her husband Martin of Spain; son, Peter Ahearn of Washington, NJ; sister, Jackie Hearn of England. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Page, Bailey, Peter and Willow.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, May 25th,  from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
