There hasn't been a single "big moment" of my life that didn't involve Grandma in some way. She was so engaged; always there for us as the steady, guiding, loving foundation of our family. I'm so grateful and proud to be your granddaughter. My love for you is boundless. You've done amazing good in the world with your kindness and generosity. I miss you so much, Grandma; you are in my heart, always.
I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Eloise. What first comes to mine are the stories she would share with me about growing up with my mom and her other siblings. She would always find humor in things and her stories would most often end with laughter or a chuckle or two. i so loved her stories.
She availed herself to me and I always felt loved and valued. Even though she was was my aunt, she was like a mother to me as well.
The world is a better place because of people like her.
