I always looked forward to spending time with Julia as her home health aide in her later years. We were both interested in sewing & cooking and I was honored to be able to help her with some of these tasks outside of the job. We shared a love of conversation (my kinda gal) and often one subject led to another and another … our kids and grandkids and history and life experiences. It wasn’t just a job; I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Julie. She was precise, organized, energetic, and had a great sense of humor. She made the best of what life handed her and her passing is a sad loss to all of us who knew her.
