We will miss Francis, our dear friend who began caring for Vince in her home when he was two months old until we moved to Pennsylvania when he was 5 years old. Francis provided hours of entertainment for Vince with toys that lined the rooms in her home.
Francis was a wonderful person who enriched our lives. She had a great sense of humor and enlarged our appreciation of history with stories of her family experiences in Brooklyn, Italy, Sicily and New Jersey. Our sincere condolences to Lia, her grandchildren and other family members. We will also remember Francis.
Kay and I have only the warmest,most loving memories of Frances. She cared for our son, Ben, from infancy until age 10 and was a loving grandma to him. He was so happy to be with "Francie" that he didn't want to leave when we came to get him. Her home was always welcoming and eloquent for the children she cared for. In my countless conversations with Frances, I was often reminded of my own mother who passed away many years ago. "Francie" will
be in our hearts and minds forever.
