Obituary of Joan B. Jablonski

Joan Marie (nee Bronish) Jablonski, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her home with her beloved children by her side. Born May 19, 1936 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ann (nee Hodulik) Bronish.

Joan was a 1954 graduate of North Hunterdon High School. In October of 1956, Joan married the love of her life, Edward Jablonski.  Together they raised a daughter and son; Ann Marie and Edward.  Joan worked as a paralegal at Lance Law Office for over fifty years.  Joan also loved farming and gardening, she took great care of everything she grew.

Joan enjoyed her weekly trips to the casino-with her brothers and cooking great meals. Most of all, Joan loved spending time with her family, especially her beautiful granddaughters; Lily, Juliana, Hannah, and Olivia.

Joan will be forever missed by her daughter, Ann Marie Hodgson and her husband Doug and their daughter Lily; son, Edward Jablonski and his wife Maria and their daughters, Juliana, Hannah, and Olivia; brothers, Bobby Bronish and Buddy Bronish; as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Joan is predeceased by her husband, Edward Jablonski; parents, Edward and Ann Bronish; and brother, Edward Bronish.

Friends and relatives may gather with Joan’s family on Wednesday, July 27^th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 28^th at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ 08801. Entombment will follow in the Church Mausoleum.
