Obituary of Deborah Hobe Reed

Deborah Hobe Reed, passed away Tuesday October 11th, 2022. She was 66 years old.

 

Deborah “Dibs” was born on September 12th, 1956, in New York, NY, the daughter of Charles J. Hobe and Marion Ellerkamp Hobe. She grew up in Upper Saddle River NJ, attended Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ, attended Drew University, University of San Francisco and received a Bachelor’s Degree from San Francisco State University with a major in journalism.  After co-owning Integration Resources, an electronic medical imaging consulting firm, Dibs advanced her career to Senior Marketing Manager at Infinitt North America where she worked for 14 years.

 

Dibs established her roots in Hunterdon County, NJ. She was an avid reader, enjoyed tennis, cooking, fine arts and antiquing.  She was a devout wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful, loving, wise, quietly funny, astute steadfast person and cherished her relationships with friends and family. She will be forever missed by her beloved husband, Gary Reed; daughter, Kyle Reed; son, Charles Reed; siblings, Candice Marini, Jill Spalding, Christopher Hobe, and George Hobe, nieces and nephews, and her cherished grandsons, Aiden and Ryan Reed. Dibs is predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Hobe.
