Hi , Lawrence Diamond , current commander VFW post 192 , hohokus nj . I first met Stan about 11 years ago as he recruited me for theVFW. It was the start of a good friendship. Stan was the most dedicated person I knew. He made you proud to be a veteran and always conducted himself with dignity and honor. He will be sorely missed by the veteran community that he represented for so many years. Stan you made your family proud and also those who had the pleasure of knowing you . Rest in Peace

I first met Stan at a Memorial Day Celebration in Ho-Ho-Kus. He invited me to join VFW Post 192 which I did the next week. He was always ready and willing to assist with the post renovation project in any way he could.
He was the epitome of a true soldier and a proud combat veteran.
Stan is now with the love of his life, Roberta.

I had the honor of meeting Stanley 15 years ago as being a Deputy OEM Coordinator, when CERT grew here, in Bergen County. I also had the opportunity serving with him, on the BCRACES Advisory Committe for a few years. I first learned about Stan's Death at the last County Municipality OEM meeting, on Wednesday Evening & this sad news hit me very hard. My Deepest Sympathy & Prayers goes out to his Family, Ho Ho Kus CERT & Bergen County RACES members! Stanley had a great personality & a Golden Heart and his memories will Live on. Until we see again, I Salute You & Rest In Peace My Friend.
Lyndhurst OEM Coordinator,

The entire North Arlington CERT team would like to express our condolences. Stan was an amazing man. His friendship, leadership, and stern instruction during his involvement with the Bergen County CERT teams created memories that will last forever. Just being around him made you want to aspire to be a great leader just as he was… Until we meet again sir, and Thank You…..David Charowsky North Arlington CERT Chief.
