Obituary of Sarah E. Yerian

Sarah Ellen Yerian, age 33, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Morristown Medical Center. Sarah was born October 6, 1989, in Cortland, NY, to Terri (nee Harper) Yerian and the late Michael Yerian Sr.

Sarah attended the Matheny School located in Peapack, NJ.  She enjoyed music and art.  Sarah had the gift of unconditional love. She had the ability to touch the hearts of all who knew her. Sarah will be remembered for her bright smile, beautiful soul, and unbridled happiness.  Her family, friends, and the staff at Matheny School will miss her dearly.

Sarah will be forever missed by her loving mother, Terri Harper Yerian; sisters, BJ Toolan and her husband Jim, Natasha Yerian; brothers, James Yerian and his wife Kate, Nicholas Yerian; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Sarah is predeceased by her father, Michael Yerian Sr.; and her brother Michael Yerian Jr.

Sarah’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Matheny School and Hospital, for the wonderful care that was given to her during her time there.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Friday, January 20th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, January 21st from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with words of remembrance starting at 1:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809.
