Obituary of Gloria Elvira Bello

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria E. Bello, 88, of Glen Gardner, NJ, formally of Brooklyn, NY. Born on February 18, 1934, in Camuy, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Martin Perez Estrada and Maria Perez-Hernandez, and mother to Manny Bello and Gloria Hrabovecky.

Gloria was a dedicated and devoted Catholic, mother and grandmother first and foremost.  She treasured all her family and friends and embraced every moment with them. Everyone who was blessed to meet her felt her warmth and kindness.

Surviving is her husband, Lazaro Bello, whose 59th wedding anniversary they celebrated on April 25, 2022. Also surviving is her son, Manny and his wife Debbie Bello along with their children Gianna, Franceca and Michela; Her daughter, Gloria Hrabovecky with her children Jessica and Andrew.  Andrew, her most special grandchild, while having a job and going to school made sure to take the time to visit his grandmother everyday, going over to make sure his grandparents were well taken care of always.  Everyone will miss the smile on her face when she sees you walk through her front door, always offering you something to eat or drink relentlessly.

We will never forget how she prayed for us all. Until the end, she prayed the rosary everyday, three times a day for all her family and friends. God bless the lovely woman she was and let her memory warm our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rt. 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10:00 am at The Church of Saint Ann, 6 Church Street, Hampton, NJ 08827. Burial will follow at Saint Ann Cemetery behind the church.  To share memories with the family please visit www.martinfh.com .
