Obituary of Judith E. Arrufat
Judith E. Arrufat, age 63, of Clinton Twp., NJ died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mrs. Arrufat was born April 17, 1950 in Puerto Rico and grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Celestina (Flores) Ayala.
She resided in Clinton Twp., NJ for the past 8 years and previous to that, she lived in Staten Island, NY as well as Brooklyn, NY. Judy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her three grandchildren who meant the world to her. She was an amazing cook and was known for cooking delicious meals that were enjoyed by many.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Fernando Arrufat, her devoted daughters; Katherine MacDonnell of Clinton , NJ and Lainie Kepley of Bedminster, NJ. Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren, Harrison, Kate and Jack, her mother, Celestina Ayala and her sisters; Toni and Eva.
Judy's Life Celebration will include visitation on Tuesday, July 9th from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 10th at 2:30 pm at Washington Crossing National Veteran Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa. #215-504-5610. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the cemetery on Wednesday.
