Obituary of Genevieve A. Marziaz

Genevieve A. Marziaz, age 94, of Holland Twp., NJ passed away at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Mrs. Marziaz was born March 22, 1917 in Jersey City. She was the daughter of the late Adam and the late Sophie (Dietich) Abramowski. Mrs. Marziaz lived in the town of Clinton for many years before moving to Holland Twp. in 2002. She worked as a sewing instructor for Edna Mahan Correctional Institute for Women in Clinton before retiring in 1981. She is survived by two sons: Richard Marziaz of Holland Twp., NJ, and Thomas Marziaz and His Wife Bev of Oceanside, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michelle Anderson and husband Chris of California, Michael Marziaz of Virginia, Mandy Marziaz and fiancé Brian Young of Colorado, Megan Fitzgerald and husband David of Maryland and Matthew Marziaz of New Jersey. She is also survived by two great -grandchildren: Brady and Jack Fitzgerald. Her husband Joseph J. Marziaz died in 1981. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the Martin Funeral Home of Clinton, NJ. All services were conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
