Obituary of Barbara Ann Mittleman

Barbara Ann Mittleman, 81, of Glen Gardner, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington, NJ. She was born on Monday, January 19, 1942, in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Jack and the late Grace (née Anderson) Kelly.

Barbara worked for many years as a bus driver for the Piscataway Board of Education and then for Ryder Bus Co. until she retired. Barbara was an animal lover, she especially loved dogs.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading a good book. Barbara also enjoyed beautiful flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandson who she adored. 

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Steven and Seth Mittleman; beloved grandson, Stephen J. Mittleman; sister, Paula Geraine and her 2 nieces. Barbara was predeceased by her son, Paul S. Mittleman and her former husband, Lee Mittleman.

Catholic Prayer Service and Words of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 1:00 PM. Friends and relatives will be greeted from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at 1:00 PM.
