We are so blessed to have known you. Being the great professional and people person you are, enabled us to be confident in everything you did and said. We always looked forward to seeing you because we knew each moment spent in that dentist chair would be filled with laughter and excellent work. There will be no other like you Dr. Stark. We miss you so much. R.I.P.

I am so greatful to have found Thomas Stark. Not just because we was obviously smart and talented at what he did, but because he was an incredible joy to be around. He was hilarious and interesting and just an all around cool guy. I know he will be sorely missed. Rest easy, Dr. Stark.
p.s. My boyfriend passed away suddenly a couple years ago. His front tooth was always bothering him. So if you could fix that for him while your up there, i'd really appreciate it. Just send me the bill ;)

Tom, you'll never be forgotten, I'll miss our long conversations and having my appointments made at the end of the day because of them! The twinkle in your eye, your wit, your crass yet gentle manner was unique. An excellent dentist but a better person and I was blessed to know you-you'll be in my prayers.
Always,
Eli

A patient of Tom's for over thirty years, I always looked forward to my visit. Tom's sense of humor, the way that he could make you laugh with his impersonations and dialects, put me at ease always. His professional recommendations were always right on and for my benefit. I will miss you, Tom. To your family I want to express my condolences. We were all fortunate to have Tom in our lives. God Bless.

Hello- I never had the opportunity to meet Tom, but his good friend Rick Molchan had told me numerous times how much Tom meant to him. If it weren't for having good fun and laughs with him, he was there for Rick and his sons when they needed emergency dental services. My sympathy goes out to all of Tom's family and friends who knew what a great guy Tom could be. Thoughts and prayers...

Thomas & Connor Heron posted a condolence
Tom Stark was more than just a dentist, to the Heron family he was a friend. He always kept us laughing even though he was constantly jamming our gums and teeth with metal instruments. When Connor was eight he was Tom's toughest client with a ton of cavities and would frequently bite his fingers. One time refusing to cooperate with Tom, Connor stole the water/air sprayer and squirted Tom. All in All the Heron valued Tom Stark as the family dentist, dear friend and are likely to let our teeth rot of our mouths before we get another dentist. Our condolences to Pat,Erin, Megan and Kyle we are here if you need anything.

My dental office is just down the road from Tom's, and we treated many mutual patients together over the past 20 years. Serious dental conversations were always sprinkled with Tom's wit, and hilarious anecdotes. Above all, Tom was devoted to his patients, and was a superb dentist. We shared some adventures outside of the office, rock climbing, and skiing; fun times that I will always remember. I will miss Tom's hearty laugh, and unique sense of humor. Tom was a colleague, and a friend.

Tom was not only a great dentist but a good friend. We have known Tom for about 15 years. He was funny and always brought a smile to my face. The last time I saw him we joked about him not retiring until we were too old to need him - he said not to worry he wasn't retiring!!!

Going to see Tom for a check-up was like going to a comedy club. He had such a great sense of humor. I would laugh the whole time I was there. The difference was that the show was performed by the best dentist in the whole world!
Tom made sure that his patients were comfortable and relaxed. He took a personal interest and treated everyone like they were good friends of his. Bob and I always felt like we were going to visit our old friend rather than going to the dentist.
I’m going to miss him very much.
Our loss is Heavens gain.
God Bless you Tom!
My deepest sympathy goes out to his loved ones.

Here is my best story about Dr. Stark. Well, first I need to say that whenever I would announce at work that I had to leave early for a dentist appointment, my colleagues would offer words such as "oh gee, that will be fun." And I would ALWAYS reply: "Yes! It is fun. My dentist is cuckoo and I always have a great time when I go there." And this is the God's honest truth!
One day, Dr. Stark was in rare form during my check up. He uttered one of his usual silly comments and I said to him "you are a jackass." (with COMPLETE love for the guy and he knew it). To which he replied: "That's DOCTOR Jackass, if you please."
And that, is Dr. Stark. I honestly cannot believe he is gone and my heart is quite heavy tonight. But I know he is in a better, cavity-free place, and this gives me comfort.
With my deepest sympathies to the Stark family for your loss,
Ms. Grzy (as he used to call me)

One of my fondest memories was the time Tom and I were sitting around my kitchen table, and he asked me if I wanted to go for a hike. I said yes with no hesitation, so he took me. It was silly, something he learned in boy scouts. Every time I saw him I asked if we could do the "hike" because i knew it made us so happy. I'm always going to remember this hike, and i will carry it on for him. Just like he would want me to.

One of my many memories...The day I was in his office, became really ill,he said a few choice curse words (lol),my blood pressure was sky high, Tom called 911, I went to RWJUH by ambulance, to find it was only a HOT FLASH!! So the next time I went to the office, on my way out, he yells, "And Kar, good luck with those hot flashes!"...so I turned around and turned the thermostat to 90, giggled and said to the receptionist at the time, "Now HE'LL know what a hot flash feels like!" lolololol He even told Joe in Florida about that...but we LOVE YA anyway Tom!!
