Obituary of Barbara Jane Dunlap

Barbara Jane Dunlap, 93, formerly of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Care One At Somerset Valley in Bound Brook NJ. She was born on June 14, 1930, in Summit, NJ and was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Violet (née Hoffman) Drummond.

Barbara was a graduate of Millburn High School, Class of 1948 and also earned her nursing degree from All Souls Hospital School of Nursing in Morristown. Barbara had many jobs through out her life but none more rewarding than raising her five beloved children. 

Barbara is survived by her children, Earl Lynn Dunlap III, Sue Abbate, Christine Ischinger, and Peter Dunlap. Also surviving are her12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Barbara is predeceased by her husband Earl Lynn Dunlap Jr. and her son Robert Dunlap.

Visitation for Family and Friends, will be held on Thursday, July 13th, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home, located at 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 14th at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale NJ 08801.
