I was humbled to play music on stage together with you and was honored to draw the Jerry Lanza band caricature portrait. You always had me in stiches. May the Lord Jesus Christ have grace and mercy on all that love You. I miss you man!! Your friend Rick Sector

I met Jerry when my sister and he started dating. They were quite a match! He would put up with her Italian, Leo temper and could manage to laugh even when she put all his guitars on the front lawn in defiance. He could make her laugh and she brought love and belonging into his life.
It's hard to believe that now they are both gone. Jerry had a heart of gold and I am very sad that he is gone from this life.
Rest in peace big guy and I know you and Laura are having one beautiful reunion. All my love and prayers to Beth and family.

I met Jerry at Orphan Annies back in the '90's. We became good friends and ran the Wed. night jam there (and other places)for many years. I considered him one of my best friends. He would do anything for anyone and had a genuine heart of gold. I knew him for the kind, generous person that he was and will miss him very much. I know that he and B.B.are running one heck of a jam inside of Heaven's gate. See you, pal.

I will remember Jerry for his great sense of humor. He was the life of the party wherever he went.
He was also a wonderful cook, and I was privileged to enjoy some of his Italian specialties.
Jerry was a talented musician, and a devoted father to his daughter, Beth.
He will be greatly missed.
I will keep Beth and the rest of the Lanza family in my prayers at this difficult time.
