Obituary of Robert A. Hornbaker

Robert A. Hornbaker, age 80, life long resident of Glen Gardner, NJ, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at his home. Mr. Hornbaker was born August 26, 1930 in Glen Gardner. He was the son of the late Edward and the late Grace (Mast) Hornbaker. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Mr. Hornbaker was a heating & Air Conditioning Technician and worked for Hunterdon Heating & Air Conditioning Company in Glen Gardner, NJ. He is survived by two daughters: Barbara Gillette and her husband Scott of Matamoras, PA., Judy Miller and her husband Mike of North Fort Myers, FLA.; two sons: Lt. Robert Hornbaker USN Ret. and his wife Brenda of Virginia Beach, VA; David Hornbaker and his wife Tammy of Glen Gardner, NJ; his six grandchildren: Kimberly, Dyanna, Timothy, Thomas, David Jr. and Andrew; his 2 great grandchildren: Caitlyn and Andrew. He was pre-deceased by his wife Mae in 1997. The Visitation will be Monday, July 18th from 6:00-9:00pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Service held on Tuesday, July 19 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822 or the VFW, 179 Main St., Glen Gardner, NJ 08826.
