I have lots of memories with Eddie from college and after. He was so kind and funny and smart. He helped me out a few times in my adult life and I appreciate him for that. To his family & friends, I'm so sorry for the loss of Ed and the hole that leaves. He will never be forgotten. Peace to you all.

I want to say Eddie and I go back 65 years. I hadn't seen him much lately. I believe the last time I saw him was at my induction into North Hunterdon Hall of Fame. He did the speech to introduce me to the Hall. I will always remember Ed for his kindness that day. He made me feel like Mike Schmidt. I hav been around and Have never heard anyone say anything bad about Eddie! I for one will always remember him, rest in peace my friend, until we meet again!!!❤️
Ed was a great friend…more like a brother. It started in high school and never ended. We share many memories. Some we would like do overs, but most just brings a smile to my face as l still hear Ed’s wonderful laugh. He will be missed but never forgotten.
I worked with Ed for several years in the NJ court system. He was knowledgeable in his positions, witty, and an overall really, really great guy and quick to always lend a helping hand. I’m saddened to learn of his health struggles after retirement and ultimate passing. Thoughts and prayers to Ed’s family and friends…we lost a great one.
So very sorry and sad to learn of Eddie’s passing. I’m so grateful for the wonderful memories shared with the entire Butler family. You will be missed Ed as are all of your family members taken far too soon. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to the Butler family and friends.
