Correction above. The song is "I Hope You Dance" as Chris lived his life as a humble person!

"May You Dance" and you did it so well Chris. The earth was your best friend and you touched so many hearts with your compassion and kindness. You will always be with us in spirt, on the farm and riding with the wind. Heaven called home an "angel" but left us with wonderful memories and a smile in our hearts forever. XO

For all the reasons Louise mentioned, Chris left his mark on the world. He touched so many people’s lives and will leave fond, lasting memories. He was a generous, kind guy, who always went out of his way to help others. I never truly met a free spirit, until I had the privilege of meeting Chris and being his friend. He lived a full life beyond his 35 years. The world lost a great one.
Goodbye buddy, I’ll never forget you.

Chris was a visionary for the future. He was always thinking ahead. He worked hard to complete his college degrees, he was a dedicated employee at Medarex pharmaceutical company, and was very knowledgeable in construction and home improvement. Chris was very mechincally inclined and skilled! He valued the hard work of his parents and was very much a hard worker himself. He lived in the moment! Chris loved to travel and felt that vacationing was a must! He enjoyed the outdoors tremendously! He was an avid skier! He was an amazing networker! He had a gift of relating to people very well! He was admired and respected by all who knew him. Chris was fearless and always sought to break down barriers that interferred with his goals. He touched many children and adolescents lives at the princeton blairstown center, a camp that specialized in outdoor education. I have been extremly lucky to have known him and loved him. Whether we were together or apart, Chris set out to accomplish everthing that he wanted to do! His memory will live on forever!

We didn't know Chris extremely well, but he has delivered our firewood for the past 3 years and has done a few things around the property for us. We got his name from a close friend. In the little time we had to get to know him we immensely liked him. He is such a nice, caring, inviting individual and I have thoroughly enjoyed every conversation we've had-be it in the snow, the rain, or sweltering heat! My heart truly goes out to his family. I cannot imagine the grief they are having to go through at this time. He will sorely be missed!

There are simply not enough words to express our sympathy and sadness to the Arnold family and Danielle.
Chris was a wonderful young man and he will be deeply missed. He did so much for our family. There is not a single place in our home where I can't look and see the beautiful work he did. His talents were endless. There was no job he was afraid to tackle and finish to perfection! I never hesitated to recommend him to friends and family. He was not only our offical handyman but over the years became a true friend. We were so proud to watch him continue his education, hear about his travel adventures and listen to him talk about his girlfriend Danielle and how he finally found "the one"!
Chris, you were truly one in a million and our home will never be the same without you!If heaven isn't perfect yet, it will be soon enough once you get to work!
With loving memories, and very sad heart... God Bless...
Cindy & Joe

To the Arnold Family:
Chris was a great young man who was an inspiration and leader for our students on the Centenary College New Orleans Relief trips. Today, on campus, everyone reacted with shock and sadness; however, they all remember Chris as a polite and motivated student. He will be missed by the Centenary community.

You were a great guy and knowing you the last 20 years has been a priviledge. Most of our stories cannot be shared on this website. Lol. Rest in peace, Chris. I am going to miss you.

Chris you will be so dearly missed. I am still in shock right now and can hardly make sense of this. I know how much you loved Centenary College so I called Rev Jones and he wanted me to send my regards to your family. He too is very sad and spoke of the wonderful memories he had with you while you were volunteering to rebuild New Orleans over several years with him. That is just a small dose of all the passion you had for life. The campus president will be leading a moment of silence in your honor at the first campus gathering.

I am shocked reading this. Danielle and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
A fond memory: Wally's 80th. My son Eric had a really good talk with Chris; he really made a positive impact that day discussing work and education options.
