Obituary of Edmund A. Pinta
Edmund A. Pinta, age 84, of Clinton, NJ died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mr. Pinta was born October 12, 1927 in Plains, Pa. He was the son of the late John and the late Julia (nee Javage) Pinta.
He resided in Clinton, NJ for the past 17 years and previous to that, he resided in Ridgewood, NJ and Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Pinta was a Crew Chief for American Airlines in Newark, NJ and in Raleigh, NC. He retired from American Airlines after 34 years of service. Edmund proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He and his wife, Gisela were both members of the 224 Investment Club in Califon, NJ and he was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting & fishing especially with his grandsons, Peter & Christian. Eddie loved creating stained glass artwork and projects.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Gisela (nee Casagranda) Pinta, his devoted daughters, Lois B. Pinta of Milburn, NJ & Pamela L. Pinta of Hoboken, NJ and his cherished grandchildren, Peter & Christian DeBlis.
The Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 20th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Monday, November 21st at the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. The Entombment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum on the church grounds.
