Obituary of Francis Ludwig Buch

Francis Ludwig Buch, 76, of Vineland, died at home on Sunday after an extended illness. Born in Somerville, NJ he had lived in the area for over 20 years. Mr. Buch was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force. He was a crew chief, and he commanded men that worked on the B-52 bombers. Mr. Buch also served on the Air Force Honor Guard and Drill Team. Prior to retirement, he had worked for US Steel, in Pittsburg, working on airplanes, and then worked for Pratt and Whitney traveling the world as a field representative, and aircraft engineer. Mr. Buch was a member of the Lion's Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and also was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He also was a life member of the NRA. He is survived by: son, Darryl F. Buch of Millville, NJ; daughter, Cheryl Naughton and husband James of Vineland, NJ; sisters, Mary Selover of Bridgewater, NJ, and June Wenzel of Annandale, NJ; grandson, Ludwig D. Buch of Millville, NJ. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011, at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ, at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, in Pittstown, NJ. Prior the the Funeral Service, relatives and friends will be received for visitation from 12 noon until 1pm on Friday at the Funeral Home. Services are also held on Thursday at 11am in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10am until 11am.
