Obituary of Dorothy P. Jenny

Dorothy P. Jenny, age 95, of Stockton, NJ died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mrs. Jenny was born June 20, 1916 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and the late Esther (Houk) Paulus. She was a longtime resident of Clinton Twp., NJ. Dorothy graduated Atlantic City General Hospital Nursing School in 1939. She was a Registered Nurse employed by the Glen Gardner Tuberculosis Sanatorium and then the Edna Mahon Correctional Facility for Women. In addition, Dorothy proudly served in the United States Army as an Army Nurse during WWII. She was a longtime member of the Annandale Reformed Church in Annandale, NJ. Dorothy enjoyed tennis, baseball, casinos and her family. She was involved in all aspects of her children's lives. She is survived by her daughter, Laurel S. Corona of Stockton, NJ, her sons, Richard A. Jenni of Ocean City, NJ & David E. Jenny of Kintnersville, Pa., her sisters, Ethel Walters & Esther May Willever, her brothers, Richard, Robert & William Paulus. Additional survivors include her cherished Grandchildren, Christian, Heath, Trevor, Shoshannah, David & Joshua and 10 Great Grandchildren. Dorothy was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Ernest F. in 1994. The Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 20th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20th also at the Funeral Home. The Interment will be held at St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Greenwich Twp, NJ.
