Obituary of Albert J. Klein, Jr.

Albert J. Klein, Jr., age 75, of Annandale, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 28, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on May 2, 1949, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Albert and Edna (née Diernbach) Klein.

Al grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, where he developed a lifelong love for the shore, and enjoyed every moment of relaxation that the beach and ocean provided. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his time in the military, Al's passion for life continued through his love of reading and his unwavering dedication as a diehard New York Rangers fan.

Al is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Diane Klein; his son, Albert J. Klein, III; and his cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Brooklynn. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Martone, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Edna Jane Tirrill.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 2, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home, located at 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3, at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, located at 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
