Professor Ann… you left an immense impact on me at a time in my life when I needed it most. In the few classes I took of yours, you taught me the immense therapeutic value of using my own two hands to create beauty out of dirt. Your advice to me in our portfolio review class and the letter of recommendation you graciously offered helped set me on a path to chase my dreams. I’m the proud owner of 3 of your raku pieces now and they’re a constant source of inspiration in my studio and living room. The beauty and inspiration that you created will continue to live on in all of the art you created and all of the lives you made better by being in it. Thank you for being my professor and mentor.
