Obituary of Gary Joe Stevens

Gary Joe Stevens, age 63, of Clinton, New Jersey, died Sunday, January 1, 2012, in Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, New Jersey. Mr. Stevens was born January 25, 1948 in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of the late Mr. Joe Stanley Stevens and Kathryn Brock Stevens, of Marion, Illinois. Mr. Stevens was a long-term employee of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where he was a Medical Writer. He had previously worked for Ciba-Geigy in the same role. He majored in Biology at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, with a love of beach life in the Florida Keys and the Jersey Shore. He is survived by brothers Dirk E. Stevens of Manlius, NY, and Bryan K. Stevens of San Diego, California. The services are private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
