Obituary of Margaret Maria Muccilli
Margaret Maria Muccilli, age 84, of Somerset, NJ, passed away on October 30, 2024, in Green Brook, NJ. Born on July 29, 1940, in Naples, Italy, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph Liccardi and the late Rosa Fiore Liccardi.
At the age of 14, Margaret displayed her resilience and determination by learning English, a skill that would serve her throughout her life. She graduated from Manville High School in 1958 and later married the love of her life, Arthur Muccilli, on January 16, 1965. Their union was filled with love and devotion, and together they raised two beloved children, Robin and Chris.
Margaret’s life was defined by her dedication to her family and her warm, nurturing spirit. She worked for fifteen years as a medical transcriptionist at Roche Biomedical in Raritan, NJ, a role she performed with care and diligence. Above all, Margaret’s true passion was caring for her family. She took great pride in being a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing the time spent nurturing her grandchildren, Dylan and Kylie, and witnessing their growth brought her immense joy.
Margaret loved hosting gatherings, entertaining family and friends with her exceptional cooking and baking. She also found joy in creating new memories through travel, embracing the world with her open heart and adventurous spirit.
Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur Muccilli; her parents, Joseph and Rosa Liccardi; and her brother, Clem Liccardi. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through her surviving family: her daughter, Robin Muccilli Snyder; her son, Chris Muccilli; her grandchildren, Dylan and Kylie Snyder; and her brothers, Carmen Liccardi, Sal Liccardi and his wife Marianne, Joseph Liccardi and his wife Wendy, and Anthony Liccardi.
Margaret’s kindness, warmth, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held privately by her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
