Obituary of Catherine Mae Warneski
Catherine Mae "Cathy" Warneski, age 66, of Frenchtown, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 25, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family.
Born on July 31, 1958, Cathy was the cherished daughter of the late Benjamin and Catherine Manee. She grew up in Iselin, NJ, and was a proud graduate of JFK Memorial High School, Class of 1976. Cathy married her soulmate, the late Walter Warneski, and together they built a beautiful home and family filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Cathy's artistic talent was extraordinary, and her ability to recreate almost anything was admired by all who knew her. She loved cooking and sharing meals with her family, especially her pierogi lasagna, a true reflection of her nurturing spirit. Her home, built by her late husband, was a source of great pride, a symbol of their enduring love and hard work.
Cathy's memory will be forever cherished by her loving children, Jessica Warneski and her fiancée Lizzy Schwartz, Nicholas Warneski and his wife Jewelia, and Adam Prokofiew and his fiancée Taylor Krolik. She will also be dearly missed by her granddaughter, Audrey Stemler; her sister, Vivien Palmer; brothers, John and Benny Manee; her nephews, Shay Palmer and Benjamin Manee; her niece, Jade Marczak and her husband Jeff; and her faithful dog, Zoey.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Cathy’s family on Sunday, December 1st, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with words of remembrance beginning at 2:30 PM. All services will be held at the Martin Funeral Home, located at 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. Cremation will take place privately.
